To retreive one or more of the documents or files quoted below, connect to the AMDC by anonymous-ftp. Example: ftp csn-hp.in2p3.fr user: anonymous password: your electronic address cd pub cd AMDC (please type AMDC in capitals) get document.list get mass_rmd.mas95 quit II - NEWS FROM THE ATOMIC MASS EVALUATION Following several demands, a rounded version of the file mass_rmd.mas95 is now added in AMDC with name: mass_rmd.mas95round WARNING: the format is not strictly identical to the unrounded version. III - NEWS FROM EXPERIMENTS ON MASSES The SMILETRAP Experiment / I. Bergstrom Jan 96 We have measured in the SMILETRAP Penning trap the masses of fully stripped atoms of C, N, O and Ne produced by CRYSIS. We have obtained agreement with the MIT values within our statistical error of 5*10^(-10). A paper for NIM is in preparation. After a number of improvements we hope to reach higher intensities and excitation times longer than 1 s which hopefully will bring us closer to an accuracy of 10^(-10). The CSS2 Experiment / M. Chartier Feb 96 An experiment aimed at measuring the masses of A=100 isobars in the vicinity of 100Sn was recently performed, using the second GANIL cyclotron (CSS2) as a high resolution spectrometer. The masses of 100Cd, 100In and 100Sn were directly and simultaneously determined with respect to the reference mass of 100Ag. A short presentation of these results is available from the AMDC as a PostScript file "css2.ps" The ISOLTRAP Experiment / H. Raimbault-Hartmann Feb 96 Last year the Penning trap spectrometer ISOLTRAP installed at ISOLDE has extended its applicability to rare earth elements. In two very successful runs the masses of more than 20 radioactive isotopes in the vicinity of 146Gd were determined. Presently these data are being evaluated. The installation of a Paul trap in front of the ISOLTRAP experiment is under way. It will extend the applicability of ISOLTRAP to non surface ionizable elements. First tests of the Paul trap are foreseen in March. In the next run, measurements in the interesting region of 146Gd will be continued. The first measurements with the additional Paul trap are foreseen on n-deficient Hg isotopes later this year. IV - NEWS ON THEORETICAL MASSES A new formula with 10 parameters / Duflo-Zuker Feb 96 We proposed in 1995 (Phys. Rev. C52, 23) a microscopic calculation of nuclear masses with 28 parameters which fitted the measured masses from Oxygen-16 and up with a root-mean-square deviation (rms) of 375 keV. The values are available from AMDC as file "du_zu_28.feb95" We have now reduced the number of parameter to 10, due to a better treatment of the spin-orbit contribution. For the 1810 known nuclides above Helium-4 we get an rms of 506 keV. The values are available as file "du_zu_10.feb96" or may be calculated with the fortran program "du_zu_10.feb96fort" V - LIST OF DOCUMENTS ON AMDC ** GENERAL document.list This list amdc.news01 AMDC bulletin #1 amdc.news02 AMDC bulletin #2 ** EXPERIMENTAL css2.ps Results from CSS2 on 100Sn mistral01.ps Status report #1 from MISTRAL mistralpubl.ps MISTRAL bibliography ** EVALUATION ame95.ps Preprint of Atomic Mass Evaluation '95 arlstatus.ps Preprint "Status of the at. mass eval.. readme.mas95 Description of electronic Ame'95 tables mass_rmd.mas95 Recommended masses mass_rmd.mas95round Recommended masses (rounded version) rct1_rmd.mas95 Recommended reaction energies, table 1 rct2_rmd.mas95 Recommended reaction energies, table 2 mass_exp.mas95 Experimental masses rct1_exp.mas95 Experimental reaction energies, table 1 rct2_exp.mas95 Experimental reaction energies, table 2 ** EXTRAPOLATION arlextrap.ps Preprint "Constrained Mass Extrapolat.. ** THEORY du_zu_28.feb95 Duflo-Zuker calculated masses 28 param. du_zu_10.feb96 Duflo-Zuker calculated masses 10 param. du_zu_10.feb96fort Duflo-Zuker fortran program (10 param.) ** NUBASE AND NUCLEUS arlnubase.ps Preprint "NUBASE: a database of nuclear icrnubase.ps Preprint "NUBASE: a database of nuclear arlnucleus.ps Preprint "NUCLEUS: a program for ...... nuclimage Images from NUCLEUS (directory) VI - ADDRESS Address: Atomic Mass Data Center C.S.N.S.M.
