Date: Sun, 15 Apr 2012 12:53:22 +0100 From: Georges Audi - Amdc To: Recipients of AMDC bulletin Subject: News from the Atomic Mass Data Center (AMDC) - April 2012 Cut-off date for Ame2012 and Nubase2012 Approximately one year ago we released a preview of our future tables (see http://amdc.in2p3.fr/bulletins/amdc.114). Although the preview contained a wealth of new data and improved the previous evaluation significantly, the growth of our knowledge in the past 12 months has been also impressive. In the preview, no details were given on how the new values were derived; the upcoming full publication will contain all details regarding our final analysis and choices, and yield tables of recommended values. We now announce that in the upcoming release of Ame2012 and Nubase2012 we shall include all data that will be published in the main nuclear physics journals with a cut off date of May 31, 2012. If other results, that are worth including in the next tables, are ready to be published, we kindly request to send them to us and we will try our best to include them in the new tables. We envision the following publication schedule: the first full version of the publication will be sent to the journal by the end of August 2012 and the final one submitted by the end of October 2012. The official publication will then appear in the December 2012 issue of the journal with the title "The 2012 Nubase and the 2012 Atomic Mass Evaluations". In May-June 2012, a dedicated web-registration page will be opened on our new website for distributing future AMDC bulletins. We kindly request that you register promptly then in order to continue receiving those bulletins and to also be able to request, in a very near future, a free copy of the upcoming Ame2012 and Nubase2012 publications.
