The IMP at Lanzhou has sent Dr. WANG Meng for three years to Orsay to learn the tools and the know-hows of the AME as they have been established since several decades by Aaldert H. Wapstra and myself (GA). The immediate plan is to have a new Mass Table published in 2012 or early 2013. The AME-Future project is defining a new working structure as a collaborative effort centered around a coordinator. In a first period, i.e. until the next publication, I will play this rôle. My task will be, besides evaluating data, to set-up a system for integrating the evaluations done by the various collaborators into a master-file. The new ideas are being presently tested, but we still have to define the details and make it work on full scale. At the same time, I am teaching Dr. WANG Meng the evaluation and the coordinator work. After the publication of the 2012-2013 tables, he will be the coordinator of the future work, and, if needed and desirable, I will play the rôle of consultant. Five institutions have already showed interest in participating in the above mentioned collaborative effort, in view of the production of the next mass table. Others are welcome to join. The requirements are to have one experienced person devoting 20% of his FTE to the project and attending two one-week courses in Orsay. ISOLTRAP DATABASE ANNOUNCEMENT by Magdalena Kowalska The ISOLTRAP team is pleased to announce that the database with all published masses investigated with ISOLTRAP is now online. The database is accessible from the ISOLTRAP website (http://www.cern.ch/isoltrap). It includes not only over 400 published mass values obtained with ISOLTRAP and the corresponding Ame2003 values, but also direct links to the articles (on the publisher websites) where the data were published.
