    It is with an immense sadness that we have learned
    here at AMDC the tragic departure of Yurdanur.

    Our special thoughts are for our colleagues, more
    particularly those working in the ENSDF evaluation
    netwok, and for her family.


    ENAM-2004

    We have just been informed that the deadline for
    submitting abstracts to the ENAM-2004 conference
    has been extended to Monday, APRIL 26, 2004.

    Abstracts are to be submitted electronically in
    pdf format. The submission forms may be accessed
    from the conference webpage:
    http://www.phy.ornl.gov/workshops/enam04/

    The organizers expect that the bulk of the oral
    presentations will come from these contributed
    abstracts. Very short oral presentations will be
    offered for exceptional poster contributions.

    Please also remind your students that there is
    significant funding to devote toward student
    participation at ENAM'04. If you know of any
    students with good research projects, please
    encourage them to submit an abstract.
